Bon's Bar BQ

Bon's Bar BQ in Chapel Hill is the creation of Julia "Bon" Smith.  Bon was the cook in my fraternity and treated me to wonderful food during my four years at UNC-Chapel Hill.  My parents credit Bon for spreading my food horizons (I was a very picky eater!)  I was Bon's first 'baby'.  Being her 'baby' was critical -- she used to wake me up for lunch if I had a late night, and give me seconds if I asked nicely.  When Bon was ready to start her own restaurant I helped her in any way I could.

And, of course, Bon is a big fan of the Suite Roll!  Guess who is featured on the wall as you walk in...
